The upper end of this range is for clients who choose luxury or complex options (such as installing subwoofers inside the wall). Only after the design stage is completed, once we figure out the exact scope of work you will get a very accurate quote.

In the demo room you will get the feel of perfectly aligned structures that hide front speakers. These structures are labor intensive and take time to design, build and install. The structures are laser aligned by specialized installers. While it is cheaper to buy a pre-fabricated speaker cabinet or place the speakers on the floor, it won’t look nearly as nice.

We are often called to redo jobs after owners paid for multiple “change order” bills and still don’t have a functioning theater. Running wires is not done equally by all companies. For example: audio and video wires should not run next to each other to prevent interference.

Most of the work's complexity is system design and calibration- not wiring. Another major part of the audio work is hours of calibrations and programming with specialized software to correct the acoustics of the room (especially if the acoustics is less than perfect and there are windows or bare walls).

Absolutely, however most of our clients want us to complete all aspects of the job to avoid coordination issues and damages (for example, tiny splash of black paint on a new screen will result in major damage).

For most customers, we recommend spending no less than $25k for the audio, $25k for the video, and another $10k if they want a motorized screen. Cheaper than that will not give you a true cinematic experience. You can spend way less, even as low as 10k for everything- but then you’re better off buying a large screen tv an a good soundbar. This is based on years of experience and meeting many clients who tried to buy cheaper products- and then called us to replace them.

Because you need to choose a very reliable brand such as Stewart Filmscreen. There are 2 engines in the frame, and you don’t want to deal with any repairs once the screen is already installed. The installation is more expensive as well because it takes many hours even after the space is prepared and the electricity is in place for the screen. Then we need to program the screen into the control system (something we don’t need with a regular screen).
